This two-day STEAM & GIS Teacher Professional Development workshop helps educators integrate spatial reasoning, project-based learning, and environmental education into their classrooms. Participants receive ready-to-use lesson plans, hands-on GIS activities, and cross-curricular tools, plus a $445 stipend and lunch. The workshop runs June 3–4 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and is supported by the National Academies Gulf Research Program. Registration Fee of $25.00 is not refundable in the event of cancellation by May 27, 2026 so those who are waitlisted may be added.
