GIS Entry Level
This course gives students a strong foundation in Geographic Information Systems (GIS). Using ArcGIS software, students learn how to collect, organize, and analyze location-based data. They explore how maps are built, how data is visualized, and how GIS is used to solve real-world problems. By the end of the course, students will have hands-on experience with digital mapping, spatial analysis, and basic GIS app development—valuable skills used in fields from urban planning to environmental science.
