GGI offers hands-on courses in GIS, drones, and smart mapping—teaching students to analyze data, tell stories with maps, and solve real-world problems.


GIS 101: Introduction to Web GIS

What GGI teaches: Practical skills in Microsoft Excel and ArcGIS Online, with projects in mobile data collection, digital storytelling, and real-time dashboards.

What students learn: An Excel certificate, hands-on GIS experience, and transferable skills in critical thinking, collaboration, and presentation. Projects include mobile data collection and building digital story maps. Students develop critical thinking, collaboration, and presentation skills.


GIS Entry Level

What GGI teaches: Core GIS concepts using ArcGIS—collecting, organizing, and analyzing location-based data, and creating maps and visualizations.

What students learn: Experience in digital mapping, spatial analysis, and basic GIS app development—valuable skills used in fields from urban planning to environmental science.


GIS Entry Level 3: Drones to Smart Mapping

What GGI teaches: Advanced geospatial skills, from drone image stitching to data processing for agriculture, climate, and city design.

What students learn: How to convert drone data into geospatial intelligence, expanding their technical capabilities and career readiness.

Prerequisite: GIS 101 + Entry Level.
